I cannot tell you how hard we have worked for this moment. Jayen goes to therapy 4 days a week and they come to him 2 days. We've been doing outpatient therapy since he was 6 months old.
But today was one of those moments when you realize why you keep killing yourself getting him there. Today was one of those Ah ha moments! Speech has always been hard for Jayen, but today I saw the glimmer of hope I needed. Today he said a three word sentence independently. He wanted milk and first told me, "I see milk." Then quickly realized what he said and changed it to, "I want milk.
I'm so proud of you Jayen! Keep working hard and you will move mountains!
